Chapter Activities

NDIA Wright Brothers Regional Chapter Activities

NDIA Wright Brothers Regional supports the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky defense community through our Executive Planning Committee, serving as a trusted partner in the DoD mission.

Industry Dialogue

HQ AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, NASIC, and AFSAC Directorate facilitate a number of annual meetings on WPAFB where senior industry executives join with their Air Force counterparts to discuss issues of common interest.

The Industry Executive Committee works closely with Air Force leadership to identify forum topics and potential speakers and panel members, and provides administrative support to the forum proceedings.

Vectren Dayton Air Show

This international event is scheduled for July 22 & 23 and is actively supported by the Industry Executive Committee by providing several members to the AFA Chalet Planning Committee.

A Professional Consortium

We join DADCA, AFA, AFCEA, AIA, DDC, and the Dayton Rotary in sponsoring recognized national leaders to address Consortium membership.

National Aviation Hall of Fame

NDIA Wright Brothers Regional Chapter supports the annual enshrinement of aerospace leaders that occurs each November.

NDIA Classic Golf Tournament

Join NDIA Wright Brothers Regional Chapter and our members for our annual team-building NDIA Golf Classic Tournament.

Our golf events are a personal, competitive setting to develop meaningful relationships with leaders in the Indiana-Ohio-Kentucky defense industry.

Life Cycle Industry Days (LCID) and Wright Dialogue with Industry (WDI)

Dive deep into the future of defense at LCID, featuring a classified session, insightful keynote addresses by Air Force and AFLCMC senior leadership, and a broad spectrum of discussions across the acquisition life cycle.

Engage in one-on-one meetings, explore exhibits by government and industry, and participate in forward-thinking panels and leadership exchanges.

Dayton Region Military Collaborative (DRMC)

The DRMC fosters effective communication between military and community leadership across multiple areas. It is a collaborative platform to enhance relationships between our military, veteran and civilian communities.

DRMC was formed in 2016 in response to a request by Lt. Gen Thompson, at the time, the Commander AFLCMC.

The Wright Brothers Regional Chapter of NDIA participates as a community Organization Partner.

Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce

NDIA is recognized as a major support organization and a standing member on the Military Affairs Steering Committee of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Being an active member of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce allows us to build strong relationships with the Dayton military community, which is crucial for understanding their needs and how the defense industry can address them.

Executive Weapons Systems Review (EWSR)

We support the local senior executive level leadership review for EWSR through hosting a social to enhance communication and cooperation across the industry and government team.
